Teenager killed after crashing into tree

A teenager was killed in a one-car accident after he lost control of his vehicle and collided with a tree.

According to Michigan State Police, the 17-year-old was driving east when he lost control of the vehicle on a gravel road. After the car left the road, it crashed into a tree and caught fire. The car was totaled and the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency crews. Further details of the accident are still investigated.

Car accidents can happen unexpectedly and devastate the lives of people involved. Our thoughts are with the family of the victim.
