Tanker explosion on I-75 in Detroit

Two 18-wheelers crashed on I-75 causing one of them to explode and collapse an overpass on the roadway.

One of the tankers was carrying gallons of fuel when it collided with another truck. After the truck exploded, the heat cause a half mile of the bridge to collapse. It is unknown if there were any people traveling on the two-lane overpass when it collapsed.

Authorities have said that there were multiple other vehicles involved in the accident and three people suffered non-life threatening injuries. Officials are still investigating to find the cause of the accident and it is unknown if either drivers suffered injuries.
