Woman killed in motorcycle accident in Bay Mills

Authorities are investigating the motorcycle accident that took the life of a 43-year-old woman in Bay Mills.

Reports show that the woman was the passenger on a motorcycle when the driver attempted to make a curve in the road, but failed to negotiate it properly. This caused the motorcycle to leave the roadway and the riders to be thrown from it.

The driver managed to escape injury, but the passenger was thrown into a tree and sustained serious injuries. She was rushed to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead due to the injuries she sustained.

Motorcycle accidents can cause serious injury to all involved, our condolences are with the friends and family of the victim.
