Icy roads in Michigan lead to several accidents

Posted on November 23rd, 2011 No Comments

Tuesday’s overnight rain led to icy road conditions on Wednesday in the state of Michigan.

Numerous accidents have been reported throughout the state that police are responding to. In certain areas of Michigan, the temperature, reaching below 0, made it impossible for the ice to melt.

Weather conditions are expected to improve over the weekend, with temperatures spanning from 40-50 degrees. The Thanksgiving weekend will bring with it an increased amount of motor vehicles on the road. Caution is stressed when traveling for the holiday so as to avoid car accidents.
