Michigan OSHA awards construction company the Star Award
Michigan’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration has awarded its first Star Award for excellence in safety and health.
The company awarded, Walbridge, was commended after its performance on a renovation project on the University of Michigan Campus in Ann Arbor. This is the first construction business to receive that Star Award.
MIOSHA has commended the company for the written programs and procedures. Nearly 62 interviews were conducted with the management, subcontractors and other staff as well as unscheduled inspections.
