Teen sentenced in fatal motorcycle accident

A 16-year-old was sentenced after a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred in early September.

According to reports, the teen was ordered to pay more than $20,00o in restitution, serve probation and perform 100 hours of community service.

The incident occurred as a 50-year-old man was riding a motorcycle with his wife when the teen driver turned left in front of them causing them to collide. The teenager said that she saw the motorcycle driving, but thought that she had enough time to turn. The teenager and the two passengers in her car were not injured in the accident.
