Two children were injured in school bus accident
Two children were injured after a school bus accident occurred in Benton Harbor.
According to police, the brakes on one of the buses went out while it was traveling on Michigan 139 around 10 a.m. This caused the bus to rear-end the bus in front of it.
Each bus has 50 children inside of it because the children were traveling to Kalamazoo on a charter bus trip. Two children, ages, 11 and 12, were injured in the accident, but their injuries were said to be non-life threatening. The accident is currently under investigation at this time.
