Two MDOT workers injured after being struck by vehicle

Two employees for the Michigan Department of Transportation were struck by a vehicle while working to repair pot holes on Gull Road near Kalamazoo Township.

One of the workers was a 50-year-old man that was taken to Borgess Medical Center in critical condition after suffering a head injury. The otherĀ  worker, a 23-year-old man, was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The 74-year-old woman who struck the men was from Battle Creek. Police are investigating the accident, but do not believe that alcohol was a factor in the accident.

Workplace accidents can happen unexpectedly and can cause serious injury. Our thoughts are with the friends and family of the man. air max 97 air max 97 air max 97
