Woman injured in motorcycle accident
A 57-year-old woman was injured in a motorcycle accident in Livonia after suffering a life-threatening stroke at the scene of the accident.
The woman was the passenger on a motorcycle and was airlifted to the hospital when emergency crews arrived at the scene. She suffered two leg injuries, broken ribs, bruised lung and an ankle injury.
The accident occurred as the woman was riding as the passenger on her husband’s motorcycle when it was stuck by a Ford Taurus. The driver of the motorcycle suffered non-life threatening injuries after the accident. Police are still currently investigating the accident and are expected to ticket the driver of the Ford.
