A man from Indiana was injured in a Michigan construction accident after he was pinned beneath 400-pounds of roofing rolls.
According to police, the accident occurred when a man was delivering roofing material and it broke free from the truck and rolled onto the man. A forklift driver then lifted the rolls off of the man. The man is now in stable condition after suffering a leg and head injury.

One person was killed and one was injured after a car slammed into the side of a train in Woodhaven on Sunday.
The accident occurred east of Interstate 75 at 2:25 a.m. when the car drove around the crossing gates and struck the train. The gates were down and the warning lights were flashing as the 10 to 12 car train passed through the tracks.
A 21-year-old man was killed in the accident and his friend, both from Detroit, was injured. Officials have said that the incident is under investigation and no further information is available as of now.
A man from Redford was pronounced dead after a motorcycle crash on Interstate 75 on July 7.
Michigan Police said that the accident occurred near 3 a.m. when the man was lost control of the motorcycle. After losing control, the man’s bike hit construction equipment on the side of the road and he was thrown from the motorcycle on impact.
A portion of the roadway was closed for several hours as the officials investigated, but further details are still being looked into.

A 32-year old woman from Audubon was injured in a two-car accident at the junction of Highway 10 and Highway 59 in Detroit Lakes on Monday. The woman was heading eastbound on Highway 10 in her 2000 Chevrolet Silverado when she collided with a 2001 GMC that was turning south on Highway 59. The driver of the other vehicle was identified as an 81-year old man from Perham. The woman and her 2-month old son were taken to St. Mary’s Innovis hospital for treatment.
